Spoon fed? I just trust the opinions of people who are experts in their fields, neuro scientists in this case and as I know it this man has changed views on how certain parts of the brain function.

I can see how some people would thing this is so unadorned and some kind of scam but I dont reflect they in fact know what it is to be blind.

Makes me wonder in fact whether the scam might be that he has not been blind all his life, but it all seems genuine sufficient.

For all of you drawing with clogged eyes sounds simple. Maybe it is but whatever you are vacant to draw it is vacant to be something you had seen before, any shape. Reflect about this that is man never had SEEN anything. Next time you see the blind person tell him to draw a landscape and you’ll see the differences.

Don’t answer, I have surpass things to do.

@laughingBun
My last note was replying your older note, just clarifying.

The top is, it’s not simply learning how to “draw converging shape”. It’s understanding something in space and representing it on paper, which is certainly not a negligible process.

Even if you learn that by converging shape you make perspective, you subdue have to know and visualize the object you want to draw. That’s the reason for the appeal in the visual actor.

@laughingBun
But that is exactly the top: the studies showed that he understands the world visually as sighted people do.

What was thought before was that, for model, if I were blind and you told me how to draw a shape, I’d probably be able to draw and breed it; but that doesn’t mean that I would know how that shape facility, or how it looks like. I wouldn’t be able to, e.g., draw it from a further angle or top of view. You have to know space and perspective to do that.

Are you all in fact so spoon fed that you cant presume a man being “taught” the concept of perspective? No he cant see. Does that make any difference at all in learning how to draw converging shape?

14 laughingBun February 9, 2010 at 12:53 pm

He doesn’t need to visually know it the way we do. If he is verbally told “this is how something facility relative to normal people”, he can incorporate that into his work. If I told you how to draw a shape or use a color you had never seen before, but i told you how to do it, you could. Then if you were questioned to re-erect it I’m sure you could do that also. I know the excitement over this but how can you ignore all the outside influence he probably had. Terrible knowledge.

15 ubershredder1989 February 9, 2010 at 1:22 pm

fake bullshit

16 AlvaroAndfriends February 9, 2010 at 1:49 pm

Pretty awe-inspiring that he can see with his finger when he paints or draw.

Unbelievable indeed.

Remarkable tale indeed.

17 leonardost February 9, 2010 at 2:15 pm

@laughingBun
It’s scientifically valuable because it was thought that, in peacefulness to correctly know geometry, space and perspective, one needed to be sighted.

He could have been taught to converge shape to form perspective, but then would he in fact know why, or how that facility, when he didn’t have any visual stimuli since birth? This fantastic actor showed that he does.
